First, don't go changing all the childhood rules, as this will only confuse your son or daughter. In order to make sure your teen will know and understand all the rules, it would be better if you'd attract him into setting up this set of rules; this contribution from his part will make him understand better, he will feel that his opinion matters, and consequently the chances of obeying the rules are much higher this way. Remember that it is not impossible to deal with teens with ADHD; it just requires a little more attention and care.

Perseverance is important, as well as monitoring his moves constantly, as to see if he has made any progress or not.
